SCHOOL FOR THE RE-EVALUATION OF FOOTBALL COACH CERTIFICATES IN CHANIA
On Friday, 10/09/2010, at the Akali Hotel in Chania, and with the participation of 42 candidates from the municipalities of Chania, Heraklion, Rethymno and the Dodecanese, the works of the 3rd School for the re-evaluation of coach certificates which were issued before 1988 from the Greek Football Association and the General Secretariat of Athletics began. The works are being supervised by the person in charge for the Coaching School of E.P.O., Aristotle Batakis, and with the cooperation of the Football Coach Association of Greece. The beginning of the works which will be carried out until 13/09/2010, were announced by the president of the Football Coach Association of Chania, George Vourvachis, in the presence of the General Secretary of O.P.P.E. Evangelos Prokos.
OPENING OF UEFA SCHOOL IN CHANIA
On Monday, September 6, 2010, at the Akali Hotel in Chania, and with the participation of 37 coaches from all over Greece, the works of the UEFA A’ School began. The persons in charge of the school, Mr. Telis Batakis (principal), the teachers Mr. Mitrotasio and Mr. Michailidi and the students, were welcomed by the president of E.P.S. Chania Mr. G. Vourvachis who stressed in his speech the importance of coaching education for the success in football. Lessons will take place everyday from 08:30 to 13:30 at the M. Elias field and from 16:00 to 20:30 at the Akali Hotel. Among the students are Soulis Papadopoulos, Dimitris Mavrogenidis, Markos Dimou, and George Kokolakis.
SCHOOL FOR THE RE-EVALUATION AND RE-TESTING OF CANDIDATES AT UEFA ‘B’ IN PATRAS
On August 8, 2010, at the Astir hotel in Patras, and with the participation of 41 coaches from the municipalities of Achaias, Aitolokarnanias and Ilias the works began at the 2nd school for the re-evaluation of football coach certificates which were issued before 1988 by the Greek Football Association of Athletics.
The works are being supervised by the person in charge of the coaching schools of EPO Aristotle Batakis and the president of the Football Coach Association of Greece, Ilias Logaras. The beginning of the works, which will last until August 18, 2010 were announced by the President of the Football Coach Association of Achaias, Ioannis Kozioris.
In view of the operation of UEFA B’ school with 41 candidates participating, from August 8, 2010 until August 25, 2010, there will be a re-evaluation of the coach candidates from all of Greece for UEFA B’ which will take place at the Astir Hotel in Patras. The re-evaluation for the theoretical part will take place on August 18, 2010 at 18:00 and for the practical exercise on August 19, 2010 at 08:00.
UPDATE FOR THE CHANGE IN THE PAGRITIOS ASSOCIATION STATUTE
Subject: Charge in Statute
Mr. President,
We would like to inform you that on Monday, August 2, 2010, our general meeting took place with the majority of members, and the changes and adjustments in the statute were agreed upon.
These changes were necessary for the modernization and harmonization of our statute with that of OPPE, but also in order for it to comply with the athletic legislature and the rules by EPO.
The changes that were made are in articles 1,2,3,4,5,7,10,13,20,27, 33 and also in the change of the name and the location.
Furthermore, the name is ‘Football Coach Association of Chania – Pagritios’ based in Chania.
This change will be forwarded immediately and you will be informed once the process is completed thru the District Court of Chania.
OPPE MEETING WITH GENERAL SECRETARY OF ATHLETICS MR. PANAGIOTIS BITSAXIS
OPPE represented by its President and General Secretary Mr. Ilias Diagoras and Mr. Evangelos Prokos respectively, met with the General Secretary of Athletics Mr. Panagiotis Bitsaxis, on Thursday, June 24, 2010 as scheduled.
During their conversation and after Mr. Bitaxis was informed that the relations between OPPE and OPE have been restored, they discussed institutional matters and general matters relevant to their field. It was then asked that Mr. Bitsaxis call a meeting between GGA, EPO and OPPE, in order to settle once and for all the problems that have arisen during the last few years. This was accepted by him and his general attitude during the meeting helped us view our future cooperation and the solving of the problems in our field with optimism.
THE FIRST RE-EVALUATION COACH SCHOOL FOR GGA-EPO SCHOOL CERTIFICATES
On Sunday June 20, 2010 in Rhodes, the first re-evaluation coach school with certificates from GGA-EPO schools before 1988 began under the supervision of the school administration and in cooperation with E.P.S. Dodekanese with the local coach association. The works at the school which opened with the welcoming speech by the E.P.S. Dodecanese President Mr. Kyriakos Meymaris, will be completed on June 23, 2010.
